Possible reasons for declined transactions:

  • Most major credit card issuers have recently blocked internet transactions.
  • Some card issuers have limits on the number or the amount of transactions per day.
  • Not enough credit balance, there could be a recent large transaction on the card account.
  • A pre-authorized transaction 'blocks' the credit funds on your card. For example car rental companies or organizations do block funds on your card for security/insurance purposes, which will be released when you return the car or rented product in an agreed condition.
