Take care of each other and beware of cosmetic products! Cream, hairspray or perfume can corrode the calcium structure of the pearl and damage the luster. Only after hairspray has been applied and perfume has dried, put on your pearls.
Equally pearls do not like sweat. Therefore always take off your pearls in the sauna, while sunbathing in summer or while exercising.
After wearing your pearls, clean them with a soft, dry cloth. This is the simplest way to remove residue from cosmetics or sweat.
Your pearls do not like long exposure in direct sunlight. Heat and sunlight dry out the outer layer of nacre and over a period of time make them matt. Remember pearls have been born in the water.
Keep your pearls in a soft case, separate from other jewellery. In this way the pearls are protected from scratches.
