At its heart is its manual wind ETA/Unitas 6497 Swiss movement, a mechanical watch movement with a 70-year history steeped in precision timekeeping, evolved from the heyday of pocket watches.

The ETA/Unitas 6497 movement involves circular graining, yellow gold plating, satin-brushed wheels, and 17 jewels; these mechanical workings are visible through the mesmerising see-through caseback of the Mecanique.
